The Contrarian

When our human needs are not being met, we inevitably wind up in a poor emotional state where things can seem overwhelming, or unhelpful emotions can drive our decision. Take back control over your mind and make better quality decisions as leaders.

Learning Objectives

In this course, students will learn:

  • How to recognise when they are being driven by something outside of their control and are at risk of making poor decisions.

  • How to think differently so rational though not fear is at the heart of your decision making.

  • What sorts of decisions are people making right now that might have negative long-term consequences and what I have done that runs in the opposite direction so I feel more short term pain, but (I hope) deliver serious long term gains.

Course curriculum

    1. The Contrarian – why doing the opposite of what instinct is telling you is a great long term plan for the future. (CE Course)
