Dr. Minninger is the Senior Staff Medical Director, a Fear Free Certified Professional and one of the owners of the Telford Veterinary Hospital which was established in 1999. She completed her undergraduate studies at Delaware Valley College and received her Veterinary Degree from the University of Tennessee in 1995. She is married and is the proud mother of an American Dingo named “Heidi” and a Belgian Tervuren named “Laverne”. “Heidi” is a certified and active therapy dog with whom Dr. Minninger works with special needs children and adults at Calvary Church’s Bridge Ministry on a weekly basis. She is an active participant on the Volunteer Medical Service Corp of Lansdale Canine Emergency Search and Rescue (CEASAR) Team as their Team Veterinarian. Dr. Minninger’s latest adventures include completing her (human) EMT Certificate. She is combining this knowledge with her veterinary skills to provide First Aid and CPR Training classes to police K-9 handlers and first responders who work within the local area. Saving every police life, human and canine alike is the goal! Her hobbies include gardening, beekeeping, and training Laverne for his therapy dog test.
